Hello ihave 2 SRXs configured in a cluster and i want to use ip monitoring inside the redundancy group.
I have seen in the documents the commands on how to configure it but through the cli giving the command
"set chassis cluster redundancy-group 1 ip-monitoring" the ip-monitoring command does not exist.
Is this even possible?
thank You

track-ip/ip monitoring start from JUNOS 9.6 only on High-end Platforms, which version you are using?
Interface/Track-IP Failure: In the case an interface looses its physical link, or track IP cannot ping the addresses it is monitoring, then the weight that has been assigned to the interface/track-ip will be added to any other weights other failures on that redundancy group, and if it adds up to 255, then the redundancy group will failover. Unless the interface monitoring is also applied to RG0, failover of the control plane will not occur by default, so the control plane will stay on the same chassis, even though the respective RG1+ will failover.
thanks

Thanks Raphael ,
but at my srx ( srx 210 , 10.0r1 ) i cannot find the option of ip tracking :
root@srx210# set chassis cluster redundancy-group 1 ?
Possible completions:
<[Enter]> Execute this command
+ apply-groups Groups from which to inherit configuration data
+ apply-groups-except Don't inherit configuration data from these groups
gratuitous-arp-count Number of gratuitous ARPs to send on an active interface after failover
hold-down-interval Interval between successive redundancy-group failovers
> interface-monitor Define interfaces to monitor
> node Set node specific parameters
preempt Allow preemption of primaryship based on priority
| Pipe through a command

sorry , i got it , srx 210 is not from the high end platforms , thanks again
but the documentation says that interafce monitoring is not supported for RG0 & the only way to fail over RG0 is doing that manually ( although i can find that option at the srx cli )
