  • 1.  SRX to FortiGate Site-to-Site VPN

    Hello J-Net,

     

    I wanted to know if anyone has successfuly built a route-based VPN between a SRX and FortiGate. What are the caveats? Does the FortiGate behave like an ASA (i.e. can only do policy-based VPN)?

     

    Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

    I built a route based VPN between an SRX-100 and a Fortigate recently, I followed the instructions on this page

    I noticed that the page doesn't seem to load anymore, however the google cache version still shows up.

    Just to confirm, with the Fortigate configured as policy-based I was able to bring up the tunnel on the SRX using route-based configurations.

     

    I've also tested it with policy-based on both SRX and Fortigate with no problems.
