  • 1.  SRX220 configuration question

    Hello,

     

    I would like to configure the SRX220 with the same public IP address for WAN/LAN without NAT.

    Is this possible? I attached my config because I cannot get it to work.

     

    What I'm trying to do is setup my SRX to have a public IP only like 88.21.51.1/29 in routed mode and put a firewall behind  it with address 88.21.51.2/29 which will NAT to the inside on 192.168.*.*/24

     

    *after searching for a while, I was able to solve this myself. The only thing needed was a PPPoE group and the VLAN needed a static public IP*

    88.21.51.1/29 in routed mode and put a firewall behind it with address 88.21.51.2/29
    Since those addresses are part of the same subnet/broadcast domain, you can't route between them, you would have to have both ports ethernet-switched in the same VLAN. Why aren't you just doing DNAT (static or rule based)?
