SRX240HM and SRX240 Differences on the SRX Series Hardware Dates & Milestones sheet

  • 1.  SRX240HM and SRX240 Differences on the SRX Series Hardware Dates & Milestones sheet

In looking through the EOL EOS datasheets I see listings for an SRX240B, SRX240B2
    SRX240H, SRX240H-POE, SRX240H-DC, SRX240H-P-MGW, But I see nothing showing anywhere there for an SRX240HM.

Therefore I would like to know what the SRX240HM would be considered within these listed devices on the fall into when in comes to looking at the SRX Series Hardware Dates & Milestones ?

    Hi

I guess SRX240HM is the same as SRX240H. Where exactly you see the notation "SRX240HM"?

The srx240-hm is showing on the Juniper Web Device Manager in

parentheses to the right of the Hostname.

    Hi

Then it's just SRX240H. You can also check in CLI, command "show chassis hardware detail".

The 240Hm is the SRX240H2 if I'm not wrong. The SRX240H2 is not EOL Yet

    Hi All

Having second thoughts, it could be either of them... Check the CLI command I posted above to disambiguate.

    If it is een 240H2

show chassis hardware detail gives you:

    Chassis <serialnumber> SRX240H2
    Routing Engine REV 10 <serialnumber> ACLR3110 RE-SRX240H2

    Hi

Try "show chassis routing-engine" to see the amount of RAM, 1G or 2G.

Also what is the Junos version (show version)?

You have the old SRX240H model. Also you are running a very very old JunOS version and should upgrade.

EDIT: Wow 5 years uptime, impressive but really scary as it looks like no updating of the OS has been done at all. I'm sure there are a heap of security issues in that version of JunOS by now!

It is the "old" version of the 240. Impressive uptime! I would recommend upgrading your very old junos version to a recent one
