Dear All,

my standalone srx3k JunOS12.1x44D30.4 chassis do not recognize SPC card:

@SRX3k> show chassis alarms
2 alarms currently active

The card is installed in front position 3

Hi Antonio,

SRX3k minimum hardware requirement includes 1 SPC and 1 NPC.

Please add atleast 1SPC and 1 NPC and check.

I have 1 NP-IOC in FPC5, isn't enough?

NPIOC is equal to NPC+ IOC, but you still need an SPC.

"You can install NP-IOCs instead of NPCs and IOCs in the services gateway."

and also 1 SPC in FPC3 but it is not operative

Have I to replace the SPC card? Is there any action/fix I can do?

Yes, please try reseating the card and rebooting the box. if that dont fix we may need to replace the same.
