  • 1.  Static Route with NAT and VPN

I need to set up a site-to-site VPN and since they have the same IP space as us
I am using NAT. I think I've got everything set up right but my question is since I am using the proxy
on the tunnel to reflect the NAT'd IP, and have the static NAT rule set do I still need to create a static route
rule to the configured interface (st.2)? I am thinking yes but if if it's not needed I'd rather keep things clean.

    Thanks,

Yes, you will need static route pointing to st0 to send traffic via vpn else traffic will go out via default route or any other matching route.
Route pointing to st0 interface is must for route based vpn to work
