  • 1.  Static route with tracking

    Posted 04-16-2014 07:18

    Hi all,

I want to configure static route with tracking reachability of remote host, i.e. if remote host is reachable, static route is up and if remote host isn't reachable, static route is down.

How can I do that on SRX3600?

    Thanks

    Hello

You could configure ip-monitoring and preferred route to meet your requirement.

Please refer below documnets on how to configure:

    Hi Raveen.

Does the solution work on high end SRX? I didn't think so.

    Can you help confirm?

If not, then are there other options?

    Thanks!
    Sam

    Hi Sam

My bad, I missed to read 'SRX-3600'

Yes, high-end SRX does not support RPM probes.

    Hello

For tracking IP of next-hop, you could configure BFD like below:

    http://forums.juniper.net/t5/SRX-Services-Gateway/Route-Change-for-High-End-SRX/td-p/221229

To track other IPs, you need to write event scripts, refer below:
