  • 1.  Strange Error Messages in logs

    Hi ,

     

     

    These string of logs keep appearing in our messages logs for some time. Just wondering what exactly these mean and if its anything to worry about.

    Aug 5 09:27:46 tcm-internal-fw01 /kernel: PCF8584(WR): target ack failure on byte 0
    Aug 5 09:27:46 tcm-internal-fw01 /kernel: PCF8584(WR): (i2c_s1=0x08, group=0x11, device=0x3f)

    Hello Rakesh  ,

     

    if these messages are continuous , then we need to go through the mentioned PR if they have any AT# mentioning the same . If not then we need engineering help to figure this out .
