  • 1.  UTM: ¿ fully supported on a routing instance basis?

    Hello team:

    I partitioned a SRX240 in three routing instances.

     

    On one of these routing instances I have a security policy for which I need to add UTM AV inspection.

     

    ¿ Is the UTM concept supported within routing instances?

     

    Any experiences/hints will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello team.

    Thanks a lot for the insight. I finally verified it by myself 🐵

     

    UTM works perfectly on policies that apply to zones inside a virtual router.

    HI,

     

    Make sure that the egress interface with which you will contact the webfiltering server or SBL server is in default routing instance. 

     

    For example, ge-0/0/0 is the interface with public ip and all the requests to internet go through ge-0/0/0, then this interface has to be in defaulr routing instance. Otherwise, web-filtering will not be up, SBL server status also shows down.
