  • 1.  Zeroize on SRX240H doesn't fully wipe the system

    Hi everyone,

     

    Noticed something that I didn't see in any of the online documentation.

    While working with a customer on an SRX240H Clustered system, we went to wipe the config of both devices with "Request System Zeroize."

     

    The systems did indeed reboot, HOWEVER, the cluster config appeared to be intact still.  We had to manually remove it from EACH device in order to fully wipe the system.  

     

    Has anyone else run into this behavior?  

    Running Junos 11.4.

    you need to treat the device as non cluster and then zeroize on 11. Junos.

    I had simlar issues with an srx 100 cluster

    Good to know.  Thanks!  I will let Juniper know they should make sure that is documented somewhere (its not that I've seen).
