    Hi Forum,

     

    At this moment i am really pulling my hear here.

    So i hope some one can help me with this.

     

    I have an office that have two fiber connection to the internet to with an ip address ranges with a subnet /26.

    They way the isp provide me the internet to my srx-650 is with HSRP..

     

    Now on this moment i only have srx-650 Firewall with two fiber connection , Port ge-2/0/20, and ge-2/0/21 to the cisco's that provide HSRP.

     

    The isp is telling me that i need to make sure that the multicast need to work.

     

    Douce any one have a cleu how i need to set this up.?

    Hi,

    Looks like your ISP wants HSRP packets circulated between/via SRX650 ports ge-2/0/20 and ge-2/0/21.

    In this case, configure a VLAN on SRX650 and add these 2 ports into it.

    Confgure a vlan.# interface and assign an IP address to it.

    Configure a default route and make sure next-hop is HSRP VIP and route to HSRP VIP is pointing to vlan.# interface as outgoing interface.

    Don't forget zones and policies.
