I have downloaded the new junos pulse client for Mac OS X (j-pulse-mac-3.0r1-b19307-installer.dmg) and fired it up. I setup connection entry to the SRX. When I click connect, it fails to do so and shows an error message "Unable to communicate with the server." When I click on the error message, I see below message.
Windows clients are able to connect to the same SRX just fine.
Please help me resolve this.
--------------------------------------------------
Connection Error
Unable to communicate with the server. (Error:1110)
The server can't respond to Juniper networking requests. This could be due to the server being down, or connecting to a server that's not a Juniper server. If this condition persists, please contact your administrator.

that is correct, the Mac client only supports IVE connections; SRX is not supported for Pulse on Mac

Hi zanyterp,
thanks for that info, it save me some time today.
Does anybody know when we can expect Junos Pulse for OSX working with SRX devices?
Is there any other VPN client which I can use meantime for dynvpn from Mac? I have tried IPSecuritas, but without any luck.
Thanks

i don't know, unfortunately, on that query; you will need to follow-up with your account team on that.
i will post this to the srx forum as well inorder to get their feedback on connecting over vpn with the Mac. i am fairly certain dynvpn does not work; it may require standard IKE config
