    Today I tried to download junos worldwide for srx branch . But i didn't found any. I see only domestic version. This had never happens to me. I used to have acces to both worldwide and domestic. Did juniper change this behavior? Did someone changes my rights? Do you have the same problem?

    Hi Jozef,

    SRX devices are export-controlled hardware - therfore we've never offered a WW version of Junos for it.

    So, dumb question then, why is there still a WW version for the J's given that they're now SRX's software wise.

    Right - the software is similar, but AFAIK the J-series hardware is not export controlled. There are encryption functions in the hardware of the SRX that on the J-series are handled in software (that's one reason why the performance on SRX is so much higher)

    Must you order the JUNOS-WW as part of a configuration? Like T640, MX's and others?

     

    As in, Must it be included as a separately orderable item? As it has a USD 10K price tag..
