SRX

Hi all,

I want convert rule on srx/netscreen to be file spreadsheet (microsoft excel or format .CSV) and I use tools ofiller odumper for that

does anyone ever use this?

Hi,

I have not used the tools you mention but do you mean to export the policies and view them in excel format?

On Putty or an SSH program and set logging to on and do the following:

user@srx#edit security policies
user@srx#show | display xml | no-more

 Open your log file up and cut from above <security> and below </security> and save it as an xml file, then just open with excel.

This is how I have done this in the past for long lists of policies.

Hi feri,

I only know this for the SRX, Im not sure if there is a similar command on the SSG.  You could ask a question over in the Netscreen forum though.
