    Hi all,

    After mounting USB stick into node0 to get snapshot of JUNOS that currently is working, performing the following command is not working. What cause might be? Any idea please.

    {primary:node0}
    root@SRX650FW-01> request system snapshot media usb
    node0:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    error: usb (/dev/da0) media missing or invalid

    node1:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    error: usb (/dev/da0) media missing or invalid

    {primary:node0}
    root@SRX650FW-01>

    Thanks

    E

    Try this:

    http://www.skullbox.net/Juniper-SRX-config-backup.php

    If you can save the config to the USB drive the system snapshot should work as well.  You must not have the USB drive mounted correctly.

    There is no problem about mounting USB to the node 0 or node 1 and copying some files from node 0 to USB.It is perfectly working. but the problem is that when taking a snapshot, it is not working. it gives invalid error...

    does anyone face this or this kind of issue before?

    Thanks,

    Erdal

    Hi all,

    Any help please? I couldn't fix the following issue on SRX. The USB stick is working when transfering files from SRX to USB stick. And also I tested the same USB in EX virtual-chassis, it is perfectly working. But on the SRX chassis cluster it is not?

    What is the problem?
