  • 1.  set->security->utm hierarchy enabling?

    Hi users,

     

    I just bought an SRX100B device. It is the low-memory device which does not support UTM and IPS features. However, I thought that I would be able to see them in the hierarchy.

     

    The device is only for training purposes as you understand. Do you know how could I enable the "utm" hierarchy to show up in order to get some practice?

    Hi Evang,

     

       I belive we can't enable UTM in low memory device. Saying that, you can try Firefly Perimeter (SRX on VM) which will support all features; more about Firefly you can refer the below link

    Hi SHKM,

     

    Thanks for answering. I can see that I can install this on VMWare vSphere, do you know if possible to install this on VMbox, since its OVA?

     

    Do you know what is the approximate price for Firefly Perimeter (after evaluation), or how much an upgrade to high-mem costs?

     

    It might cost less to buy another SRX.

    Hi Evang,

     

      Yes, you can install it on VMbox. Other two questions about memory upgrade and cost of Firefly, I suggest you to please get in touch with Juniper sales team.
