DNS Suffix problems after upgrade

I'm seeing a curious problem. LAst weekend, we upgraded our SA4500 cluster from 7.1R3 to 7.1R10. We also upgraded Junos Pulse from the factory version 2.x to 3.0R2.

Now for some reason, even after disconnect, the user's physical network adapter is set to "Append these DNS suffixes (in order)" instead of the default "Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes." The problem is that the user's primary suffix is not in the list, and they can no longer resolve short names on the LAN.

I have Network Connect profile set to use "IVE DNS first" and it is obvious that it is pulling the list of suffixes from the IVE's DNS settings. But the default AD domain is first in the IVE's list, but doesn't get appended.

Bigger question, why is it not releasing this setting?

Re: DNS Suffix problems after upgrade

This is a reported issue which will be fixed in Pulse for Desktop 3.0R3.  This should be released within a few days.
