Error when viewing a Silverlight application through Juniper

sys.invalidoperationexception initialize error error 2104 in control 'Xaml1'. Could not download the Silverlight application.  Check web server settings"

The silverlight application works fine when we do not go through the SSL VPN.  Silverlight uses a file with a ".xap" extension.  Could that have anything to do with it?

Re: Error when viewing a Silverlight application through Juniper

[ Edited ]

Hi I am experiencing a similar issue. I am using Silverlight 4, IE7, Juniper 6.05..

and SSL

The location of the Silverlight .XAP file defined in default.aspx is not being rewritten by Juniper, although it can rewrite  the location of  javascript files specified in the same default.aspx file.

It therefore fails with 404. Without Juniper, the app works fine

Do I need to configure anything in Juniper specifically for .XAP files?

Thanks

Re: Error when viewing a Silverlight application through Juniper

Silverlight is not explicitly supported; you may experience issues using it. You can try the following; however, your best option may be to investigate using SAM or NC/Pulse:

1) enable custom headers at users>resource policies>web>rewriting>custom headers and set the action to allow
2) configure passthrough proxy for the site
