Firefox 3.6.14: Terminal / RDP Session does not start

Hello,

after upgrading Firefox to 3.6.14 I cannot start a Terminal / RDP Session anymore.  Additionaly, loading of the start page (right after logging in) takes up to 40 seconds.

Everything runs fine with Firefox 3.6.13 or below.

In the Java console I get the following error messages after loggin in.

Tested on three different machines (one was a clean VM)  with Windows XP SP4 and Windows 7 (both as local Admin)

Can someone please verify this or (maybe) has a hint how to solve this problem?

I thought it was my problem. My symptoms are, after successfully logging in, and opening a single RDP session, if I try to open a second session, the sslvpn hangs. The only solution I've found is to restart firefox. I'm running into this problem on 6.5 and 7.0 and 7.1 versions. from Windows XPsp4

edit:   I also continue to have the problem after uninstalling all Juniper apps (HC, NC, WSAM, etc)

I can confirm that uninstalling 3.6.14 and re-installing 3.6.13 will resolve this issue in the short term.    Mozilla has issued this warning:   https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/pogo-and-other-java-pages-dont-work

I won't pretend to understand what they broke, but I can say that your users will be able to open 1 and only 1 RDP session or NetworkConnect session, and any subsequent sessions, even reconnecting to the same server/relaunching NetworkConnect, will hang the browser.  The only short-term resolution I've found is to close, and then re-open Firefox.

I think the best fix, at this time, is to uninstall 3.6.14 and re-install 3.6.13 (download from here: http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.6.13 ), which does not exhibit these problems.

Thanks for verifying this.

Actually, I´m not able to start a RDP session at all with 3.6.14. So will will suggest our SA users to downgrade to 3.6.13, if they want to use Firefox.

I'm running XPsp3, and after the upgrade, the first session started every time (I upgraded around noon).  I never had it fail on the first connection.

I already sent an alert to my customers that have SA's, just so that they'll be able to respond intelligently to their users, even if the only thing they CAN tell them is to re-install the previous version.  Of course, anyone with  firefox configured to update automatically is going to be hosed.

As of 2am, IE8 and Chrome (windows) and Konquerer (linux) worked fine.

When I first had the problem today, I just assumed that I had borked firefox.  It was only after I saw this thread that I searched The Encyclopedia Galactica (google) and found the pages I referenced earlier.

Mozilla has released version 3.6.15.  I'm downloading it to test now.

I´ve just tested 3.6.15 it on my private PC (Windows 7) and everything runs fine now.

Yes with the new version everythings is running fine
