Hi, I have active sync working for all phones (Windows Mobile/Android/Iphone os3) through a sign-policy, however users who are running os4 are unable to send the message simply errors out on the phone.Receiving email is fine, syncing through our local LAN over wireless send and recieve works.
Has anyone seen this issue? and do you have a fix?

OK I ran a config change on the iphone located here and it works:
On a side note I did not need to apply this fix to another location that does activesync over a fortigate system. Running the same version exchange 2010, so I still think the juniper is doing somthing to the headers causing the errors. Any info anyone has will be helpful.

Same issue here. Running 7.0R1. We're using the workaround you supplied, but would like a fix from Juniper...opening a case with JTAC.

Ok, I opened a case. Here's the paraphrased answer I got:
"It's probably not supported, but I'll check and get back to you..."

Hi, I'm desperatly trying to get an Android phone (HTC Desire with 2.2) working with Activesync via a SA2500 box and I noticed that you have managed to get this working. Do you have a bit of an idiots guide to gettting this up and running?
So far I've created a sign in policy with the backend url pointing to my Exchange server and have set a virtual hostname.
The problem is that I don't think I fully understand the how the SA box integrates with Activesync.

I just tested the iphone 3gs running OS 4.1 without the "Profile fix" and this works, so will test the iphone 4 with OS 4.1 tonight and see what happens.

Signin Policies:
User Type: Authorization Only Access
Virtual Hostname: {your domain name you place in the phone as the active sync server must have a valid DNS record}
Backend URL: {the activesync name on your exchange box}
Authorization Server: [No Authorization]
Role Option: {Your Role that has Web Access to the exchange Box}
Protocol Option: Allow Activesync Traffic only [checked]
You can always check your settings with a test account @ https://testexchangeconnectivity.com
Do other phones work?
