Remote Assistance Offer

Has anyone been able to get Windows Remote Assistance Offers working through NC?

We want to allow a computer inside the network (LAN) to offer remote assistance to a computer outside the network (NC) but connected via NC.  Our network connect testing rule to allow this is wide open - x.x.x.0/24 - ex: 192.168.2.0/24 where the inside computer is 192.168.2.10.  The command we are using to connect is msra.exe /offerRA y.y.yy.- where y.y.y.y is the Juniper issued ip address for the client connected via NC.

Strangely enough, a remote assistance solicitation started by the outside computer (NC) and used by the inside computer (LAN) works every time.

Re: Remote Assistance Offer

do other connections work successfully?

one thing to keep in mind is that if there is NAT from the internal range to the NC range and that IP is outside your ACL, you will need to allow the NAT IP or it won't work
