Stopping the Network Connect Uninstall Icon from appearing

When the Network Connect client auto installs (after a user logs into a portal page and then starts the NC client), an Uninstall Network Connect Icon is added to the NC Trouble Shooting and Network Connect Icons found here: Start > All Programs > Juniper Networks > Network Connect 7.0.0.

Is there a way to disable the addition of this icon at this location?

No, this is not possible

Hi Greg,

This is not something that can be done at server side.

On client side, you can delete the uninstall icon from C:\Program Files\Juniper Networks\Network Connect 7.1.0 and then delete the shortcut which is a manual process

You could also script that as part of the network connect start script (and build in error handling for when the icon has already been removed)
