Hello all,
I am working on setting up an account for one of our vendors who needs access to servers inside my network. I am attempting to set up web resources for https://ip address:9010 but I cannot get the links to work outside of the network. I have disabled the auto policy rewrite option but to no avail. I would really like to avoid using Network Connect if possible. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Cole

Hello Cole,
Did you configure a web policy or a web profile?
Are you accessing the web policy through a web bookmark you've created on the SA device?
I am assuming the ip address is a internal ip address which is not accessible outside so you'll need to go through the rewriter to access the resource. The url should look like this "https://<IVE_IP_ADDRESS>/,DanaInfo=<INTERNAL_IP_A
If you want to access the resource directly, "https://ip_address:9010" (entering this directly in the address bar of a web browser), you'll need to either use WSAM/JSAM or Network Connect.

Hi Cole,
Autopolicy rewrite option has to be enabled if you are planning not to deploy any client access mechanism like sam/nc.

which auto-policy did you disable: users>resource profiles>web>profileName OR users>resource policies>web>selective rewriting? if the former, please make sure you have a policy in the latter that covers that address : port combination
disabling rewriting is a decision you make in order to use a SAM ,Pulse, or Network Connect
