  • 1.  2 internet connection with dip enabled slows the internet

    hi,

     

    i have a customer who has ssg550 os 5.1

    he have 2 internet connection from the same ISP but each with diffrent range and both are connected to eth0/2 & eth0/3 as untrust i`ve added the two default routes for each connection enabled ECMP and eqaul 2, the customer want certain IPS to leave through eth0/2 and certain IPs to leave throug eth0/3, i`ve configures DIP on both inerfaces and enabled source translation on the policies, it works fine but the internet suddently becomes very slow although it did the source translation but very slow, the moment i remove the source translation every thing works normally.

     

    so is it the correct way or i have to do PBR or something wronge with the firmware ?

    Hi

     

    Have you tried with Source-based routing so that some ip-subnet has default gateway to one internet connection and other have default gateway to the other internet connection.
