hi,

1-can setup nsrp on two appliances were both of them licesne is not activated ( it shows in screenoskeys nsrp is active )

2-if i had a firewall working in production can i setup nsrp with existing configuration or i have to re-configure interfaces ploices etc...

am looking for active/passive

1 - I believe nsrp license is included in some appliances. Run "get lic | incl NSRP" to see if you have it.

2 - You will need to change some of the configuration. You will be using "redundantX"-interfaces instead of "ethernetX/Y".

2 - you will need only to put an interface at the HA zone + put NSRP priority  + put management ip

nothing else is needed   & i recommend using Active /Passive

And you are correct, redundant interfaces are not needed, but if one want to achieve full redundancy then it will probably be used. It will obviously depend on the design.
