This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  Antivirus Pattern file (Version: not loaded )

    I have install the Antivirus feature into the SSG but for some reason the status is

     

    Antivirus Pattern file (Version: not loaded )

     

    AV statistics report  - Fail Mode: engine not ready  2

     

    Events report that AV: Content from is dropped due to scan-engine error or constraint with code 14 for scan engine not ready.

     

    I have also installed the DP and is working fine exepct the antivirus. Latest firmware: 6.3.0r14.0 and the System time is right.

    Please check the following :

     

    + A reboot is required after a license is installed
    .

    + DNS setting are configred on the box.

    + Box has access to internet.

    Got it working correctly, the problem was that the Firewall was missing the Gateway, as soon the Gateway was added the Antivirus start working.  I'm updating this ticket in case someone have a similar problem.

     

    Assuming that you have assigned the DNS on Network>DNS>Host and to update the Firewall Gateway the static IP assigned must reach the outside and the Gateway can be added by going to Network>Routing>trust-vr><NEW

     

    IP can be 0.0.0.0 and whatever Gateway your router have, this configuration was for a Transparent Firewall.
