This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  Can one hot-plug PIMs on a live Juniper SSG320-firewall?

    Can one hot-plug a PIM (JXU-16GE-TX-S) into an empty slot on a SSG320 without experiencing down-time? Source would be appreciated.

    No, you will need to shut the box down first. Also, be sure to check your firmware version against what is supported for your PIM module:
