  • 1.  DHCP server on redundant (sub)interfaces

    Hi, I'm upgrading my systems from one node SSG140 to NSRP cluster.

     

    As part of the new setup, I'm also setting up redundant interfaces (which have several subinterfaces for VLAN traffic). Before I had the SSG be a DHCP server for some of those VLANs, but now when I try to set it up, I get an error:

     

    set interface redundant1.2 dhcp server service
                                                       ^---------unknown keyword server

     

    Also on the GUI, I can se only None/RelayDHCP options.

     

    Does that mean I can't run DHCP server on the SSG for those VLANs anymore?

    Just in case, I'm running ScreenOS 6.1.0r2.0 on SSG140..

    Hi,

     

    I've just upgraded to 6.2.0r4 and I can run DHCP server on redundant IFs now as well..

    So either it was a firmware issue or a glitch, I'm ok now..
