DHCP server on subinterface (trunk interface)

Hi,

 

it's possible to configure on the FW the DHCP server on subinterface (trunk interface) ?

Hi Rtracoon,

 

Yes. Go in Network -> DHCP menu and you ll be able to configure a DHCP instance for each sub - interface of your 802.1Q link.

I can't configure the DHCP server on the trunk interface with my software version 5.4.0r8.0

 

Please can you tell me which version of ScreenOS support the DHCP server on trunk interface (subinterface) feature ?

Are you in a NSRP config ? Like Actif/Passive ?

Yes: Active/Passive mode.

DHCP server is not support on sub interfaces in case of a NSRP config ( only DHCP relay )
