I wanted to find if there is a document on configuring WIndows 7 machine for dialup vpn supported by Juniper SSG140. Since the Netscreen-Remote has reached EOL and no more versions are going to be released for Windows 64-bit systems and WIndows 7, I think there should be another client available or atleast a document to do this.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please use the following KB which will helps to create the Dial VPN by using L2Tp with IPsec tunnel.
http://kb.juniper.net/KB10939 or http://kb.juniper.net/kb/documents/public/VPN/Scre
Use the same configuration but please use certificate as mention in the above links , L2TP with IPsec tunnel using pre-share key will not work with Juniper firewall.
Thanks

Thanks Berndm for the reply. Are you currently using NCP to connect to SSG series? Also, does it allow shared keys and access to multiple networks.

Hi! Sorry for the delay. Yes, I use NCP to connect SSG series. Yes, NCP allow PSK and access to multiple networks. From the developer Site you can download a demo - version of that. You can than test the software.

hi berndm, i have tried to use NCP with Vista. I can connect successfully but am not able to access any network resource. Are you using route-based or policy-based VPN?

The NCP client is like 144.00 USD. Is that per user or is it like Netscreen remote where you buy a 10, 100, etc user package? For our customers, 144 dollars times 10 users is going to be more money than they spent on the firewall.
Any other solutions? Shrewsoft looks nice but it says absolutely nothing about supporting windows 7.
