This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  GUI access problem on https

    when i force the device to connect through https rather than http,

    Configuration > Admin > Management
         * Redirect HTTP to HTTPS

    After this config i can access the device through local LAN interface ,the request is successfully redirect to https, but when i try to access it from the internet facing public interface ,the page does not come up.Same is the case when trying to access it through remote access VPN.

    Same is the case when i use different custom port number for http,i can access the GUI from the LAN interface but not the public interface.

    Hello,

     

    did you check on your external interface in "Service Options" SSL box ?

     

     

    set interface ethernet0/0 manage ssl
