  • 1.  How clearing SSG DNS cache ?

    Posted 10-17-2008 01:53

    Hi,

I've an issue with a SSG550, which has some entries (not all) in its DNS cache with a huge TTL (>1.000.000). The TTL value on the server is set at 3600 seconds

I'd like to clear the cache and execute a refresh to see what is the first TTL value and if always the same entries are involved.

    Thank you for your response

    Hi Topilouff,

"clear dns" should do the magic.

To list all dns cache entries "get dns host cache" is your friend.

    Cheers,

I know this is a very old post.

I like to know how much time needed to update all DNS cache entries after running the command "clear dns".

I got 3500 DNS hostname address objects.

    Thanks
