I have a NS25 at home right now on a ADSL line. On the trusted side I got a dhcp pool and I am looking at rate limiting incoming bandwidth for this pool, we got a new exchange studen and well .. he is very bandwidth hungry it seems.
Outgoing limit has not been a problem, but I can't figure out incoming so far.
NS25 is in route mode, has a fixed IP on the outside and currently uses egress interface for NAT. I could give the DHCP pool it's own external IP if needed (I got 8 available total). Been trying to read up on it, but so far swamped with an office move and didn't have much time.
This high traffic is potential causing me line problems, but I am trying to eliminate the higher traffic causing the problems.
