  • 1.  Lost SSG access

    Dear Experts ,

     

    One of my friend ask me a question about recover accees for SSG5 ,  but the tricky part is that he does not want to loose the configuration on it. 

     

    Is there a way to do that ?  Reseting access to the box without loosing configuration  is possible for SSG5 ?

     

    As far as I know you can use serial number for username and password,  but once you login is it rebooting the device with default config ?

    There is no way to reset root access if you have lost the password without losing the configuration. If you have non root access you can always login and capture the configuration, do the reset as you describe and load back.
