  • 1.  NSRP failover: Does VPN link goes down?

    Hi All,

     

    As per the title if a NSRP cluster fails over from Master to Backup what happens to the VPN tunnel?

     

    To my knowledge the HA link syncs everything and all open sessions and VPN links would be moved to the Backup firewall and it will not need to re-negotiate Phase 1 again.

     

    Could someone please confirm if my thoughts are correct?

    The firewall will sync the VPN info and the associated sessions, so it will be a seamless failover.

    The VPN session won't get disconnected.
