  • 1.  Nating remote subnet for route base VPN

    Posted 04-08-2014 04:16

    Hello guys,

Was wondering if there is possibility to NAT remote subnet for VPN tunnel.

For example our end is 172.16.10.0/24 and I have been given the remote network of 192.168.10.0/24.

The problem is I have already VPN tunnel with static route for this subnet (192.168.10.0) pointed to tunnel.1 interface so can not create another...

Can I somehow translate it on my end or it has to be done by the remote end?

    Thanks,

    Dom

    Hi,

For this you have to configure NAT on remote side device.

For SceenOS you also need to have a route based vpn in order to apply the nat policies too.
