  • 1.  PIM, ePIM, uPIM difference?

    Posted 08-10-2015 18:56

On the e,uPIM, I suppose e is enhanced's abbreviation and u is universal's abbreviation, right?

I think these priority is below sentence.

    uPIM > ePIM > PIM

    We usually see the CISCO's model name (2960G-24TC-L, 3560X-48P-S, C2970G-24TS-E... )

According to the bold line, device's function is different from according to L, S and E)

Like this, I'm wondering if u,ePIM is same meaning difference..

    Thank you for reading.

    Hi,

    Yes the abbreviations are correct.

    ePIM

    uPIM

uPIM has higher port density and options available.
