If you upgrade ScreenOS Version from lower 6.3 to 6.3.x you must deactivate DHCP-Server. When the DHCP-Server is activated at booting the SSG boot process loops.
If you can't deactivate the DHCP Server before the upgrade then do following.
Copy the command line STRG-C:
unset interface bgroup dhcp server service
After the SSG reboots you have some seconds to login and to paste the command with STRG-V. After that the SSG will not reboot. Save the configuration with save. Now you can add a new DHCP configuration.
We have the problem with upgrades to 6.3.0r21.0 from lower versions. If you deactivate the DHCP Server before the upgrade everything is fine.
