I have a SSG 5 & want to connect it on a DSL connection via PPoE settings. What's the compatible modem for this set-up?.By doing this, can i have the Dynamic Public IP on the untrust interface itself? I'm planning to put up a site-to-site VPN using a dynamic peer at one end and a static peer at the other end.
Anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information. But I have SSG-5 w/v.92, so i need a separate modem and i'm looking for the model of the modem that comes compatible with this SSG- 5.
It says in the datasheet for this unit, you can connect a modem via the V.92 interface.
I want to have the dynamic Public IP via the DSL connection from the ISP on the untrust port of the SSG-5.
Did you face this kind of set-up before?
I'm asking this because of the Dynamic & Static peering of site-to-site VPN since the small branch office has a DSL connection and they acquire the public ip address dynamically.

Thanks for the info. but I've learned that SSG-5 v.92 can't work on DSL lines even if you put a modem to it. It will only work on dial-up connections like 56K dial-up.
