    Posted 11-20-2011 16:36

I have no problem getting in using HTTP.  When I set HTTP Redirect I can't get to the login screen.  I'm using Netscreen OS 6.3.0r6.0 I then have to login via telnet and unset admin http redirect.  I'm attempting to use the Default - System Self Signed Cert

I have the webui port set to 8081 and the HTTPS port set to 443 and the management ip is set to 10.10.10.1

I go to http://10.10.10.1:8081 and it does try to redirect because the addess line ends up https://10.10.10.1 but fails to launch the sign page

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi,

Use  https://10.10.10.1 (without /index.html) to access the login screen. The redirect may really sometimes fail. This has something to do with  page reloading/refreshing/cookies in IE.

Thanks for the reply.  My problem was that the interface did not have the SSL switch set in the management section.  It's working now.

    Hello!

I have the same problem but I can't login with http and https. I try to connect to telnet and I enter the login and password but Login failed.

I tried too to conenct via AUX port but I have the same problem. Login Failed.

Have I any option to uncheck redirect HTTP to HTTPS, from console o other acces?

The firmware version of my SSG5 is SSG5 6.3.0r13

    Thanks !

    Hi,

The command is unset admin http redirect

Use get socket to check if the firewall is really listening at the default http/https ports. Perhaps they have been changed.

Thanks for the command echidov, but I can't access to SSG5 using telnet and aux port via putty, hyperterminal,...

I think that in my SSG5 is disabled to manage via telnet or others.

I try other users and any can access :(((((((

    There are any other solution?

    Hi,

You should use the console port (not aux). The parity and flow control should be disabled in the terminal application.
