Running 6.2R2 on an SSG5 and when you reboot you need to login and re-activate the wireless.

Wonder what the logic was here - seems like the wireless should re-activate on a reboot.

This is problematic for me using wireless at remote offices - any power fail and the (wireless) office is down.

Please open a case with JTAC.

Simple .. it's a bug.  There is a patch available which addresses the problem.

Very interesting. I opened a JTAC case immediately and 2 days later still no response other than a question indicating he didn't read what I wrote.

I'll bug him for the patch. Thanks for the followup.

Hmm, that shouldnt be the case. Try to call the 1-888-314-5822 number to get an engineer on the phone. Thats going to work faster for you.

Hey Alan - curious - did you hear from JTAC. I am suffering the same issue - and so far they have had nothing to say on this one. Wondering if you got a patch reference or any other update.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kevin,

No JTAC response yet despite voice mails, emails, etc. I'll try again today and post when I learn something.

Got the patched ScreenOS at long last.

Sure wish Juniper would publish these showstopper bugs rather than making us dig for them. Please?

I just cannot wait for the next Release Notes.

My internet is hammered up - fully used up.

My ISP says it is a computer on the network but it isn't.

    Could it be the ssg5?
