  • 1.  SSG5 as lab router?

    Posted 11-18-2011 06:50

    hello experts,

can SSG5 be set up as router only?

I'm setting up a small VPN lab [2x NS50] and instead of setting up some linux/bsd box to act as simple router,

I'd like to use SSG5 I have here.

the idea is to use SSG5 as router between two subnets [2.2.2.0/24 and 1.1.1.0/24],where 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 respectively would be set as Untrusted IPs of NS50 boxes, and both would be connected to the SSG5,so I can simulate real-world and build VPNs [route based/policy based...]

    thanks tons

    edit:

solved. ssg5 can be used as simple 'dummy' router.
