This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  SSG5 version 6.0 (Problem in Natting MIP) stop responding after some time

    Hi,

     

    everyone we have deploy a SSG 5 for just natting our internal IP. for bidirectional we use MIP and for outbound we use DIP. but after configuration everything works fine. but after an hour and so all kind of access passing through SSG5 are stop responding. i tried everything from firmware upgrade to policy changes and MIP address changes. but the problem is still same.

     

    Can u guys help me after seeing this Tech support file.

    You're on 5.4r1 I'd start with an upgrade to 6.1r5! or 5.4 r 12. There are known issues on natting in early 5.4 versions.

    Hi Screenie,

     

    As u suggested i upgrade the version to 6.1.0r3, but the problem is same. it work for sometime but after couple of hour. i stop responding. When i reboot the device then its start working again. I was confuse that is that a problem with Hardware of Software.

    I'm attaching the device tech support with new version. kindly let me know if you can help me on it.

    hi,

     

    can anyone of you help me on this issue. Device seem perfect but when i try to change any Policy it react badly and stop working for all tracffic coming from Untrust Zone. Its serious problem for me, kindly help me on this ???

    I've looked thru your tech outout, don't see anything unsual! Which traffic stops after a change? To a MIP? What does a debug flow basic show after the change?
