  • 1.  ScreenOS: Unnumbered Ethernet interfaces

    Hi,

     

    I'm wondering if ScreenOS supports unnumbered Ethernet interfaces. In JUNOS, I can run Ethernet interfaces with unnumbered IP addresses if two routing devices are connected in a point to point manner.

     

    Tab completion gives me the unnumbered keyword only for tunnel interfaces.

    Hi,


    This is not supported.  However, you can switch the Firewall to transparent mode and run it at Layer 2.
