  • 1.  Secondary HA path vs NSRP interface

    Hello All,

I have ss140 Active/Backup cluster with one dedicated HA link managed from NSM. I have configured secondary HA link using L3 interface. Everything is fine but in NSM there are two options in nsrp configuration window: Secondary HA path and NSRP interface. Anyone knows what’s the difference between them and what is NSRP interface.

    Regards

    Hi,

This is for very old ScreenOS releases and smaller firewalls that did not support a HA zone. A pair of data interfaces could be used for the NSRP traffic. I am not sure this would work with the modern releases.

    Simply ignore these settings.
