This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  Secondary IP on SSG 550M

    I have an SSG 550M running screenOS 6.2r4 and I am not able to add a secondary IP to the 4 built-in gigabit interfaces.  The option is just not available when I go to any of the 4 gigabit interfaces via the web gui.   I have an 8 port gigabit card installed in the same firewall and all 8 interfaces on the addon card have the option to add a secondary IP.  What gives?  Is this just a web gui issue or some inherent limitation with the built-in gigabit interfaces?

    It's depending on the zone the interface is in. Not possible in untrust, possible in trust, not sure about DMZ.

    That was the issue all the built-in interfaces ethernet0/0-0/3 are in the untrust zone.
