    Hi,

     

    Please help me to get an idea about traffic shaping flow....

     

     

    Traffic shaping applied on policy will control the rate of return traffic ?

     

    E.g....

     

    I am going to apply a policy which will allow source A to destination B on port 80. I wanted to restrict the data download speed to 512 Kbps(Return traffic rate should be 512). Will this single policy with traffic shaping is enough to restrict the download traffic.

    You can set the mbw to 512, ensure that the traffic matches this policy.

    This will rate limit the download traffic ?

    Yes, the download rate will be limited to MBW
