Update license key via url on ISG-2000 IDP 6.1.0r5.0

Hi All,

I am trying to run 'exec license-key update' on an ISG-2000 IDP, I am behind a proxy but have opened direct internet access to nextwave.netscreen.com tcp/443 but the update is failing. Anyone able to advise if there is something that I have missed?

Re: Update license key via url on ISG-2000 IDP 6.1.0r5.0

Looking at the error, I think you may not have activated the subscription yet:

 ## 2009-05-19 07:25:58 : httpfx: http response msg header received, size=<399>, http-status=<500>
HTTP Receive Message Header:
---- START ----
HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error

As the object was not found.

Check out this KB:

http://kb.juniper.net/index?page=content&id=KB8252&actp=search&searchid=1242691304295

You should have got an Authorization code and you need to register and activate it before you can retrieve the lic:

For how to register you can also check the C&E Guide here:

http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/screenos/screenos6.2.0/ce_v2.pdf

Page 258

The above basically says, you need to go to http://tools.juniper.net/subreg to register the product before you can get the licence.

Check the links above out and let us know if that helps.

Thanks for the info, I have already registered all the Serials etc. I am going to contact juniper sales to check the subscription details.

Cheers
