This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  Upgrade Screen OS 6.1.0r2.0 to Screen OS ssg500.6.3.0r13.0 version

    Hi,

     

                  I am using ssg550m screen OS 6.1.0r2.0 and the boot loader is Saipanloader V1.0.4.  I plan to upgrade the Screen OS 6.1.0r2.0 to Screen OS ssg500.6.3.0r13.0 latest version.

     

    Is it recommended to upgrade the Bootloader Saipanloader V1.0.4 to Loadssg500v107.d or not necessary.

     

    Anybody let me know,  It is better to feel fear to upgrade the Screen OS 6.1.0r2.0 to Screen OS ssg500.6.3.0r13.0 version.

    Hi Sasikumar,

     

    In the below link for upgrade guide, you will notice that there is a mandate to upgrade bootloader when going from 5.4 to 6.0.

    If that was done then now you dont have to upgrade the bootloader:
