    Hi Everybody

I was trying to configure VIP and MIP on a single Public IP

    The Scene is :

On my interface eth 0/3 ( 122.169.115.103 ) I am trying to VIP and MIP the public IP (122.169.115.236 ) two different applications i.e.

    I have created a MIP(122.169.115.236 ) for hosting a server and a VIP ( 122.169.115.236 ) for video conferencing device

Now if i try to connect the Video Conference Device via the internet using the VIP ,I am not able to get audio and video data though its shows that the 2 points are connected

In the Log i find that the video conferencing Session is connected via the required TCP and UDP ports which i have allowed creating

a customised service but also in the log i find that it is also trying to connect to the server which is MIP with the same Public IP

What could be the possible reason ???

What I am trying to do is creating a MIP to access a server and a VIP to access the video conference using the same static ip for

    MIP and VIP

    Thanks

    Raj

The problem it could that MIP has the preference over VIP. so it is highly chance that firewall is not able to use the VIP.

You can use MIP for both Server management and the video conferencing.

ALso make sure  ALG is turn on for e.g H.323 or SIP

    Hi All

For VIP configuration put 1720 port as VIP Port for Video Conferencing and port 23 for telnet for the server access
